Are you frequently injured either through sport or accident and fed up with just treating the symptoms? My aim is to discover and fix the underlying problems of your pain. I’ll look at the mobility of your joints, muscle and tissue and put together a plan for your rehabilitation which may include:

Sports massage is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including; muscles, tendons and ligaments. Sports massage is an important part of self-care and injury prevention.

Custom Orthotics, the presence of foot problems can affect the proper functioning of other parts of the body. Foot problems are often treated with shoe inserts called orthotics. Custom-made foot orthotics are medical devices inserted into the shoe to correct an abnormal or irregular walking pattern.

Manual therapy is hands on therapy and there are many different techniques used depending on the type of injury. This therapy is delivered with the hands as opposed to a device or machine. The aim is to put pressure on muscle tissue and manipulate joints in an attempt to decrease pain caused by muscle spasm, muscle tension, and joint dysfunction.

A biomechanical assessment looks at areas of asymmetry and how the body compensates for this elsewhere (postural analysis). Everyone will have some degree of natural and conditional asymmetry. It is this compensation which puts pressure on other parts of the body. For some people this can cause pain and injury. I can assess your posture and devise a treatment programme specific for your needs.
