At MH Sports Therapy in Sutton Coldfield, Mike Hickmott performs a comprehensive gait analysis and biomechanical assessment to determine whether custom orthotics could benefit you — and if so, has them made to your exact specifications.

Poor foot mechanics can have a cascading effect throughout the body. What starts as a subtle imbalance in the foot can lead to knee pain, hip problems, lower back issues and poor posture. Custom orthotics address these issues at the source by providing the foundation for proper alignment and efficient movement patterns throughout your entire kinetic chain.

The assessment involves a detailed analysis of your walking and running gait, foot posture, joint range of motion and overall biomechanics. Mike will explain his findings clearly and recommend the best course of action. If custom orthotics are the right solution, they are prescribed and manufactured offsite, typically taking 2-3 weeks to arrive.

The price of £300 includes the full assessment, prescription and the custom orthotics themselves. If, after the assessment, Mike determines that orthotics are not required, a standard consultation fee of £58 applies instead — so there is no risk of paying for something you do not need.
